GEORGE NEWS - A local biker (39) died in a collision with a car on the bridge near the Garden Route Mall last night, Wednesday 19 February.
According to initial information he was on his way home from Wilderness to George when a car turned in front of him on the bridge between the mall and the Kraaibosch Sasol garage.
The car, that was driving from George in the direction of Wilderness, was apparently turning off to the right to get onto the N2 when it drove in front of the bike.
He was declared dead on the scene by paramedics.
Earlier information that suggested the accident happened near the traffic light was found to be incorrect.
