Best of George Readers' Choice awards coming soon

GEORGE NEWS - The Best of George Readers' Choice Awards are about to kick off and focus on identifying and celebrating the very best that George has to offer.

From services, DIY and construction, to accommodation, restaurants, health and beauty - we're all about finding the best local spots and sharing them with our community.

This year marks the inaugural Best of George Awards, brought to you by George Herald, based on a model that has been greatly successful in cities across South Africa.

It is time for George to shine, and you - our loyal readers - are the expert judges!

How it will work

You will be able to nominate businesses in different categories that excel in their field, go the extra mile, and uphold the good name of our beautiful town.

Nominations open on 1 May and the nomination and voting process (when the time comes) is free, so be sure to nominate all of your favourites in and around George to be in the running for a coveted Best of George award.

Help us to crown the best of the best in George, and you could be a winner too. Special prizes will be up for grabs for individuals who nominate and vote, so make sure your name is in the hat.
