Brenda Vorster, the manager of the George Airport, says that the synergy between the ground staff, baggage handlers, security, the retailers, car rental agencies, technical staff and client services ensures that a visit to George Airport becomes an enjoyable me-mory that will last forever.
Acsa is fully committed to the future development of George and the region and will continue to support community projects where possible.
Recently Acsa adopted Geelhoutboom Primary School as a project and built a new library, erected a covered assembly area, improved the toilet system, brought in a filtration system for drinking water and bought winter uniforms for the learners with backpacks and stationary. Vorster said that Acsa has handed out 50 wheelchairs to various hospices in the area and will be the main sponsor for the Outeniqua Wheelchair Challenge (OCC) for the next three years.
