GEORGE NEWS - The Thembalethu Community Day Centre (CDC) is able to vaccinate 600 walk-in clients of 35 years and older from Wednesday till Friday, 4 to 6 August.
This is for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine (a single-dose vaccine) only, according to Nadia Ferreira, district health spokesperson.
"The Garden Route is experiencing a steep increase in cases and recorded over 3 000 new cases and 141 deaths in the past week and the Western Cape Health Department is urging the public to make use of the walk-in vaccinations at Thembalethu CDC over the the three days till Friday," said Ferreira.
