GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Local paragliding instructor, tandem pilot, and member of the Protea paragliding team, Khobi Bowden (52) and a tandem passenger sustained serious injuries earlier today (Saturday 7 March) when their glider collapsed while attempting to land during a tandem flight in Sedgefield.
According to a source, Bowden and her male passenger (28) sustained back and pelvic injuries.
Both were conscious when ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene.
They were stabilised on scene and taken to a hospital in Knysna.
