GEORGE NEWSFLASH - Two vehicles allegedly overturned in separate incidents on the Pacaltsdorp-Gwaing road this afternoon.
According to Johan van der Merwe, Le Grand Estate manager, a car apparently left the road near Tikketai just after 15:00.
It landed in a field on the other side of two fences next to the road.
"It seemed to have ploughed through the first fence, but the second was intact, so the car must have gone right over it.
"It had to be cut so that the tow-in service could get to it.
"Traffic officers and the police were on the scene.
"The driver was unscathed and was picking up pieces of his car."
Van der Merwe said this incident followed not long after a Toyota bakkie had landed on its side after it apparently slid on sand around a bend in the road.
"Another bakkie was on the scene quite soon after and towed it away. It seems as if it is going to be a busy weekend again."
Colonel Hans Blaauw, Pacaltsdorp Police chief, could not confirm the incidents and said information would only be available by Monday.

Van der Merwe is part of the Hansmoeskraal Forum that has been lobbying for years to get the authorities to tar the road and implement speed control measures.
Many lives have been lost in vehicle accidents here.
More information to follow as it becomes available.
