GEORGE ELECTIONS NEWS - Ndileka Booi, the Southern Cape Area Commissioner for Correctional Services, said she voted at George Correctional Centre so that she could help oversee the smooth running of the offenders' voting.
Booi said even though these people have committed offences in their communities, they still have a right to say who runs their country or province. She had the help of assistant director Udesh Rampersad.
He had already made his mark earlier in the week so he could help with the voting of offenders at the prison. He says he has always voted and his vote is still the same.

Booi says she has to make sure that voting goes smoothly at all the centres in her district. Her vote has not changed and she always makes a point of voting, whether provincial or national.
