GEORGE NEWS - Thembalethu police are investigating an attempted murder after a provincial traffic officer's service vehicle was hit by a concrete brick while she was traveling along the N2 on Sunday 28 April at about 05:15.
The brick struck her vehicle's windscreen while she was driving under the footbridge between Thembalethu and Lawaaikamp and landed on the passenger seat.
The 43-year-old traffic official sustained injuries to her face and was taken to hospital.
