GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - Jane Simon Wine Ambassador held her 12th annual wine show in the Audi Centre George premises under the umbrella of 'Wine, Olives and all things Nice', this being a premium event with no less than 17 wine farms exhibiting over 90 wines.
The event was a resounding success, with the hospitality trade and wine connoisseurs and those interested in wine coming to the event. Beautiful canapes to complement the wines were served by Deidre Kuhn and Sam Treitsch of Clean Plate Catering, with the help of Nguni Catering and 'Explore our Hood' Restaurant, which is part of the 'Dine with a Local' concept. Masterclasses were held, with the winemakers giving talks and tastings on specific topics.
These masterclasses proved to be a real highlight of the show. De Rustica Olive Farm also showcased their Premium Olive Oil and imported Balsamic Vinegar. Nicholas Leonard was the curator of the artwork and beautiful art by talented artists from the Garden Route was on show.
Great value was added to the show by Taahir Mall, who displayed his magnificent Persian rugs which he generously placed throughout the show, and of course the beautiful Audi motor cars, which were also on show.
