UPDATE: 09:05 | Thembalethu Bridge is completely open for traffic. Traffic and Law Enforcement are monitoring the situation.
GEORGE NEWS - Thembalethu Bridge is closed for vehicles travelling into the area due to strike action.
Traffic officials are assisting vehicles travelling out of Thembalethu.
There is currently access to the bridge from the N2.
GO GEORGE services remain suspended until further notice.
