GEORGE NEWS - 2010 was an exceptional good year for The Communication Channel (TCC) who specialises in subjects such as Speech and Drama, and Presentation Skills and Business Communication for all ages and companies.

The students of TCC celebrated their outstanding achievements at their gala event that took place at the Arts Theatre in George.
The studio is accredited by the Trinity GuildHall Examination Board. Individual classes are presented on a daily basis at the studio, situated at Harry Mann Square, York Street, George.

The following results were achieved:




Trinity GuildHall Examinations:

• Five distinctions - 85% and 100%
• Six merits -75% and 84%
• Two passes - 65% and 74%

George Eisteddfod:

• 33 ++ = 90% - 100%
• 33 + = 85% - 89%
• A = 80% - 84%
• No silver or bronze.
• Trophy for Junior Drama
• Trophy for Senior Public Speaking
• Trophy for Junior Public Speaking

Seven students were invited to perform at the gala evening.

Wordfest:

• First position: Trophy for Best Performance
• Second and third runner-up.
• Best Poster

Artsfest:

• First position: Trophy for Individual Best Performance
