GEORGE - One of the leading skin centres in the Garden Route has re-launched itself under a new name, Skinlogic. Owner Louise Balanco says the old name did not reflect the centre’s full range of specialities. "When I bought the centre a year ago, it traded as Lasertech, but I soon realised the name was very limiting. Although laser therapy is one of our specialities, we offer the whole beauty gambit - from manicures right through to cutting edge technology such as radio frequency treatments. So, Skinlogic was the logical choice!"
Re-launch & Open Day
On 19 January Louise hosted a Skinlogic open day to celebrate her first year of success and to introduce the new name to clients. Louise invited skin experts to address the guests and answer all their skin and health related questions. "The sessions weren’t just product promotions. Interesting facts regarding laser treatment, hair removal, pigmentation, premature ageing and prevention and treatment of various age related conditions were discussed. The guests were actively involved."
Lucky clients walked off with lovely prizes, including product hampers and Skinlogic treatments.

Radio Frequency Treatment
Skinlogic is the first in the country to offer radio frequency treatments using the state of the art Spa RF machine.
Louise says the results are impressive. "Radio frequency is great to fight cellulite. It contours your body and helps flatten your stomach, shrink your hips and thighs and tone your upper arms. It also tightens the skin on your face and neck."
Radio frequency heats the inner layer of the skin and stimulates cells to release toxins, drain retained fluids and produce new collagen.

Smart Skin Centre
Smart is a term that immediately springs to mind when you visit Skinlogic for a treatment. The building, decor, treatments and warm, professional service all speak of elegance and clever techniques. Louise has also introduced a loyalty scheme that rewards regular clients with points that can be redeemed for a treatment of their choice. Very smart indeed.
The Skinlogic therapists are fully qualified in all the therapies on offer and only products from leading beauty institutes - Dermalogica and Guinot - are used.
