One Forest Set to wow with 5-star wellness experience

GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS AND VIDEO - Located at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountain range and across from one of George’s premier golf courses, One Forest is a luxurious health and wellness centre housed in a contemporary, European-style building. The centre, which officially opened its doors in May, is home to a medical aesthetic day spa, full-service hair studio and coffee shop.

The brainchild of local businessman and developer, Marius van Huyssteen, this double-storey centre is set to raise the bar when it comes to skincare and haircare treatments. With high ceilings, concrete floors and exquisite finishing touches, it is reminiscent of spas and salons found in the world’s fashion capitals.

Situated on the ground floor are Eden MediSpa, Shampu Hair Studio and Koffihuys. Located on the second floor are a Discovery Financial Adviser, a pilates studio and offices.

The MediSpa, which is headed-up by Dr Adri Hofmeister, specialises in aesthetic skincare treatments using the latest, industry-leading technologies. Some of these technologies, such as the Harmony XL Pro laser, have never been seen before in the Garden Route.

For those wanting to sport a new look, the experienced stylists at Shampu Hair Studio are ready to cut, colour and style. The salon exclusively uses Redken products - a range developed for use by haircare professionals worldwide.

Koffihuys is the perfect place to gather with friends or business associates, offering a range of sweet treats and savoury snacks. The coffee shop is also the only one in the Southern Cape to stock Lavazza’s Tierra blend - a selection of the finest Rainforest Alliance arabicas, 100% sustainable, with chocolatey notes and a scent of fruit and flowers. It is open to the public Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, and Saturday, 8am-1pm.
