GEORGE NEWS - The ever-so-anticipated Outdoor Man Fishing expo held at the Garden Route Mall from 19 to 22 April reeled in many curious passers-by.

The aim of the expo was to make people aware of the sport in the Garden Route and provide a learning experience about its different facets. Shoppers loved the delicious bites from Ocean Basket and the various games offered were enjoyed by kids and parents alike.

Local organisations, corporates and government departments were invited to educate us about the world of fishing. 

Different aspects of fishing were explored: deep sea fishing, salt and fresh water fishing and rock and surf fishing.
