GEORGE - Garden Route Mall offered a lovely first Organic & Fresh Produce market to shoppers on Sunday, 31 January.

Thirteen exhibitors participated with very positive feedback from shoppers and stall owners after the event. Stalls included Farm Fresh Direct (representing four organic businesses), Health and Living, Vintage Green, Woolworths, The Cheeseman, Laharna Farm, Lihanna’s Nur-sery, Forever Planks, ProNature and Garden Route Solar Heating.

Shoppers had the opportunity to enjoy tastings from Woolworths and various products such as grains, herbs, vegetables, cheese, yoghurt, rusks, bread, olives, organic paints and greener lines of products such as recycled products and solar heating items.

The organisers invite Georgians to come and enjoy the market every last Sunday of the month. The next one will be hosted on 28 February, again from 11:00 to 15:00, at Standard Bank Entrance 4.
