GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - The decade of La Dolce Vita, or the proverbial ‘sweet life’, has been resurrected. This time George proved itself worthy of the glamour.
When Werner Fourie Optometrists, the stockist of some of the most fashionable eyewear available, launched the 2011 collection of some top designer brands, they opened the door to a new era for eyewear fashion in George.

On the night of 28 October, a fortunate few were treated to an exclusive preview of luxurious brands such as Prada, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Emporio Armani, Georgio Armani, Vogue and more. Colour, light and music combined to create an intoxicating fashion experience. People browsed the large collections and could order new sunglasses and eyewear only just launched from Italy for 2011.

"George has many fashion conscious people, and now they can express their style by having the newest and most unique eyewear available," says Werner, owner and host.
This will be an annual event, so watch your postboxes for next year’s exclusive golden tickets.
