GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - Brandtrade engages in the design, manufacture, marketing and sale of sport and corporate apparel, equipment, accessories and services. They supply to those who proudly want to wear their heart on their sleeve, or better yet, over their own hearts. Several school teams and sport clubs as well as corporates in the city and Southern Cape region have turned to the company for specially manufactured and branded items.
In turn, Brandtrade is equally passionate about their products and service.
Brandtrade acquired Exocet last month. Exocet has a proud George heritage with over 20 years manufacturing experience. Brandtrade has a proud affiliation with three factories in Cape Town after a intensive learning process. From these factories they source the best in different production processes. The combination of local manufacturing and supplies from affiliated partners help the company to serve any client needs.
Under the leadership of Sarel Theron, the owner-managed company employs around 20 people and all the production steps are completed on the premises - from pattern selection, cutting and assembly to the final quality checks. The new production and sales teams are determined to keep customers satisfied with great service and quality.
Following the whole process shows exactly how versatile the company is in meeting customers' needs. Embroidery and application of logos through digital printing and sublimation technology are popular options for branded apparel.
"We supply more than T-shirts and caps. We offer two well-known and exciting brands of manufactured clothing - Exocet and SPOED sport and lifestyle garments and accessories. From early next year, these can be purchased at our showroom in Mitchell Street," says Theron.
Brandtrade also supplies personalised and branded work wear such as lounge shirts and jackets as well as stylish leisure wear, including headgear. They have more than five other ready-made brands, with Barron and Slazenger being two favourites.
"Visitors are always welcome and early in 2018 we hope to see a dynamic update in the design of our sport wear as it is becoming more modern than the traditional square-shaped fits."
Brandtrade - now with Exocet - has combined experience of the industry for more than 30 years and engage people in the informal sector to help create employment.
