GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - Redberry Farm is the Garden Route's favourite family destination, with lush landscapes and rows of strawberry fields.
This year Redberry Farm is celebrating 20 Years of Berry Blessings and introducing the Strawberry Run in support of charitable organisations.
The 5km trail takes you through through strawberry fields in a gorgeous farm setting, and you get to enjoy majestic views of the Outeniqua Mountains.
The Strawberry Run will take place once a month.
Entering the Strawberry Run will motivate you to test your fitness, plus it will be in support of a worthy cause!
Every month a new charitable organisation will be selected to receive proceeds from the entry fees.
The first of this year's runs took place on Saturday 22 February and had 100 runners in support of Up with Downs, a non-profit organisation managed by parents of children with special needs.
Up with Downs children with the management team of Redberry Farm.
The school provides specialised education that will meet the needs of these children, from pre-primary level up to and including high school level, where applicable.
