BUSINESS NEWS - The Nomads Motorcycle Club of Cape Town will be hosting the Buffalo Rally at the ATKV Resort, Hartenbos, over the weekend of 27 to 29 October.
This will be the 16th occasion the Buffalo Rally will be held in Mossel Bay, as the town is hugely popular with motorcyclists.
With thousands of motorcyclists descending on the town over the weekend for an event of this nature and magnitude, there will regrettably always be some inconveniences and/or frustrations.
While we do our utmost to eliminate or minimise any such inconvenience, we appeal to the community to bear with us over the weekend.
We are aware that one of the main “inconveniences” is the unnecessary revving of motorcycles late at night and even perhaps into the early hours of the morning.
We assure you we do our best to try to put a stop to this, but with an event of this size, together with the size of the camping terrain, it is an almost impossible task to completely eradicate this.
As in the past, we hope the residents will enjoy the weekend as much as the many motorcyclists do.
The public is most welcome to pop down to Hartenbos Seefront on Saturday, 28 October, from 11:00 to view some of the eye-catching motorcycles that will be on show.

The motorcycle procession will depart from George Road near the entrance to the Santos/De Bakke Resort on Saturday, 28 October, at 11:00 and will follow a circular route via the Point, along the R102, Louis Fourie Road, turning right on to the N2, and back to the ATKV Resort, taking the 397 Oudtshoorn/Hartenbos offramp.
