SOUTHERN CAPE BUSINESS NEWS - At Skinlogic we understand the importance of looking and feeling your best despite everyday pressure.
Advanced skin care is offered in a friendly and discreet atmosphere by Dr Herman van Rooyen (MBCHB, WSMA, DHBOT), Dr Adri Hofmeister (MBCHB, DRCOG, MRCGP, PBCertMedEd) and their team of experienced therapists.
Feedback from their clients is testimony to the quality of treatment. Mrs Heidi Lategan (age 39 and mother of three) says that prior to her Botox treatment for frown lines she was fully informed of the effects and aftercare of Botox. "I felt that I was in safe hands and not only did my frown lines improve, I now have fewer migraine headaches as an added benefit!"
Botox is still the number one aesthetic treatment world-wide and continues to be a popular treatment for frown lines and crow's feet. Botox produces rapid, predictable results and has an impressive safety record.
Mrs Oosthuizen (43) who has been using Botox for many years, needed an improvement in the general appearance of her skin, especially the fine lines around her mouth. She says: "I never knew what was best to use for my skin until I went for a full consultation.
I was informed of all the options and eventually decided on Restylane Vital. I received several small injections which were not painful, although slightly uncomfortable and I am thrilled with the results. I now have my glowing complexion back again!"
The doctors at Skinlogic says that Restylane Vital is perfect for rejuvenating mature and photo-damaged skin on the face. It creates a glowing complexion by gently and naturally smoothing the skin from within, giving a noticeable and long lasting effect.
"Each treatment needs to be tailored to your specific needs to produce a younger and healthier appearance, without invasive treatments or the need for cosmetic surgery. We practise an integrated approach to facial enhancement and rejuvenation, using combinations of therapies. These include Botox, dermal fillers such as Restylane, skin rejuvenating chemical peels, genuine Dermaroller, sclerotherapy and advanced cosmeceuticals.
"We only offer treatments that are medically endorsed and based on proven scientific principles," Dr Hofmeister said.
She returned to South Africa after 14 years abroad in Canada and the UK.
After completing her diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology she specialised in general practice in the UK and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the General Medical Council. She also obtained a qualification in postgraduate medical education and was medical director of a successful aesthetic clinic in the UK offering medical skin and laser treatments.
