Adri Jansen van Nieuwenhuizen and singer Thelma Heyns
GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - The Managing Director of Pink Trees for Pauline, Adri Jansen van Nieuwenhuizen, is the runner up in the South African Council for Business Women's Business Woman Of The Year competition NPO category.
The aim of the SA Council for Business Women (SACBW), a non-profit organisation, is to unlock potential and to see women grow to their full potential, reach their goals and succeed in business.
The SACBW is affiliated with iDUC, which is an organisation that promotes no violence against women and children and is always willing to assist with fundraising. Each Business Women of the Year finalist had to raise funds for iDUC and Jansen van Nieuwenhuizen, also a songwriter, composed the lyrics of the song 'I will live again' as her contribution to iDUC.
She knew she had to incorporate professionals to produce the perfect song. Michael Lindt composed the music and the song was recorded by Thelma Heyns.
Heyns has performed on some of South Africa's biggest stages and has been seen on television programs such as Jukebox, DKNT, Pasella, Kwêla and Supersport to name a few.
