BUSINESS NEWS - This Mother's Month, The Women George invites the community to a heartfelt celebration of motherhood, creativity and community spirit at a morning of elegance and purpose.
The event, Take a Seat at Our Pink Table, will take place at the picturesque Hawthorne Boutique Hotel - a fitting backdrop for a gathering that promises inspiration, beauty and connection - on Saturday 31 May.
Hosted by Alida Gerber of Mediation Garden Route, the morning is designed to honour the strength and stories of women, particularly mothers. A seasoned family lawyer and mediator, Alida is known for creating safe spaces for healing and growth - something she brings passionately to the table.
Guests will be treated to an engaging and powerful keynote performance by Left Sleeve, whose immersive storytelling and charisma are bound to leave a lasting impression. The event also features an exhibition by renowned artist Tanja Lategan, whose work explores themes of femininity, resilience and inner beauty. Local guest performers will add to the special atmosphere, ensuring that every attendee feels honoured and uplifted.
More than just a celebration, the event also carries a purpose.
Funds raised will help to support two young dancers from George who have qualified to represent South Africa at the Dance World Cup finals in Spain. This is a chance for the community to come together and help make their dream come true.
Whether you're a mother, daughter, friend or supporter of the arts and youth, this is your invitation to be part of something meaningful.
Take your seat at the pink table - a place of celebration, solidarity and shared dreams.
