GEORGE NEWS - The planned construction of the 40ML Raw Water Balancing Dam, originally scheduled for weekdays, will now also take place over the weekend. Work will be carried out on Saturday, 5 April and Sunday, 6 April between 07:00 and 14:00.
Service Disruption
Minor operational interruptions may occur during construction. The public will be informed in advance of any planned temporary disruptions and their expected impact through official social media channels.
Traffic impact
Residents, road users, and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution during the construction period. Please adhere to traffic controllers, temporary construction signs, and road safety measures.
Site access
Public access to the construction site will be strictly prohibited in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
