GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality would like to inform residents that all refuse collections, including black and green bags, will proceed as scheduled on the Human Rights Public Holiday, Friday, 21 March.
The following areas will have refuse collection on Friday, 21 March:
- Residential Areas: Glenwood, Loerie Park, Eden George, Genevafontein, Denver Park, Bergsig, and the Eastern Extension.
- Business Refuse Collection: As per the regular schedule on Friday.
Residents and businesses are reminded to place all refuse outside by 07:00 for collection.
Please also note that municipal offices and services will be closed on Friday, 21 March, in observance of a public holiday.
Essential services, including emergency response teams, will continue to operate as usual.
