GEORGE NEWS - The George Municipality will be carrying out essential infrastructure upgrades, including the replacement of the old waterline in Fountain Street, Denneoord. As a result, on Monday 17 March from 10:00 – 14:00, the water supply to the following streets will be temporarily disrupted:
- St Paul Street
- Spruit Street
- Bloubok Street
- Silverbos Street
- Bergroos Street
If work cannot be completed on 17 March 2025, it will continue on 18 March 2025. Every effort will be made to restore water supply as soon as possible.
Construction Details
- Location: Fountain Street (Between St Paul Street, Spruit Street, Bloubok Street, Silverbos Street, Bergroos Street).
- Duration: January 2025 – April 2025
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00
- Traffic Impact: No road closures; flag personnel will be available to assist when necessary.
