GEORGE NEWS - There is a planned water outage for a portion of Thembalethu on Wednesday 18 February from 08:00 to 14:00 for alterations to the water mains.
The following area will be affected:
- Tshefu
- Ntaka
- Schaap
- Ntutuko
- Msenge
- Mangaliso
- Tyatyambo
- Nyathi
- Xomoyi
- Paradesi
- Bhadi
- Pikoko
- Balfour
- Ngcakani (between Tshefu and Schaap Streets)
Consumers are cautioned to treat the installation as live for the full duration of the interruption, as the water supply may be restored at any time within the notified period.
Low water pressure may also be experienced during this time.
A water truck will be provided to supply the community with water during the interruption period. Should circumstances prevent the work from being carried out during the above-mentioned period, it will be rescheduled for Tuesday, 24 February, from 08:00 to 14:00.
