GEORGE NEWS - Notice is hereby given that the water supply will be interrupted on Wednesday, 26 March from 14:00 to 17:00 for the purpose of commissioning a newly constructed bulk water meter connection at 53 Kuile Street.
Consumers are warned to treat the installation as being live for the full duration, as the supply may be resumed at any time within the notified period. Low water pressure may also be experienced during this period.
During the construction period, there may be temporary disruptions to municipal water services in the surrounding areas.
The municipality will make every effort to notify residents and businesses in advance of any scheduled interruptions via its official social media channels, website, and other communication platforms.
Additionally, road users and pedestrians in Kuile Street and adjacent areas are advised to exercise caution and be mindful of construction activities.
Water outage period:
As part of the bulk water meter connection in Kuile Street, a scheduled water outage will take place to facilitate essential construction work.
