GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality has a planned water outage for a portion of Blanco on Wednesday 19 November, from 09:00 to 12:00 for commissioning essential constructed maintenance at c/o Vrugte and Montagu Street, Blanco.

Consumers are warned to treat the installation as being live for the full duration, as the supply may be resumed at any time within the notified period. Low water pressure may also be experienced during this period.

Services disruption: 

During the construction period, there may be temporary disruptions to municipal water services in the surrounding areas. The municipality will make every effort to notify residents and businesses in advance of any scheduled interruptions via its official social media channels, website, and other communication platforms. 

Additionally, road users and pedestrians in c/o Vrugte and Montagu Street, Blanco and adjacent areas are advised to exercise caution and be mindful of construction activities.

In the event of any unforeseen circumstances that delay the planned work, the water outage will be rescheduled to Thursday, 20 October from 09:00 – 12:00.
