GEORGE NEWS - The George Municipality has announced a scheduled power outage affecting a portion of the George CBD, specifically Meade Street, on Friday, 18 July from 09:00 to 16:00.
The outage is necessary to carry out essential alterations to the electrical mains.
Residents and business owners are advised to treat all electrical installations as live for the full duration of the outage, as the supply may be restored at any time within the notified window.
Should unforeseen circumstances prevent the work from being completed on the scheduled day, the alternative date for the outage is set for Monday, 21 July, from 09:00 to 16:00.
The George Municipality extends its sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused and urges the public to exercise caution throughout the affected period.
