Update
GEORGE NEWS - The latest dam level update, supplied by George Municipality on 3 March:
Garden Route Dam Level
- Dam level: 58.12 % (Compared to 58,12% on 24 February)
- Rainfall: 8.40 mm (Measured from 25 February - 3 March)
Water supply left: 24 weeks
This includes only water that can be pumped and treated. Water below intake / treatment level is excluded.
- Current daily demand: 37.6 million litres / day - well done George!
- Target daily demand: 38 million litres / day
Haarlem Dam Level
- Dam level: 24 % (Compared to 26 % on 24 February)
- Rainfall: 15 mm (Measured from 25 February - 3 March)
Residents are warned that if water consumption does not reduce, George Municipality has advised that it will have to introduce stronger restrictions and possibly higher costs may apply. Saving now prevents tougher measures.

Households are limited to 10 kilolitres per month under Level 2D.
