Registration and licence fees for motor vehicles – 2025 regulations

MOTORING NEWS - The Western Cape Minister of Mobility has published updated registration and licence fee tariffs for motor vehicles, as per Provincial Gazette Extraordinary No. 9101, dated 11 July 2025. 

These increased tariffs will take effect from 1 August and will apply to all vehicle licences that must be renewed from this date onwards i.e., licences with a current expiry date of 31 July 2025.
