Kudos to our local municipality for actually maintaining and upgrading our roads infrastructure. But, is there anyone planning the scheduling of all this work?
For example Tamsui Industria has access only from the George Industria side and from the York Street side, but roadworks with contraflows and detours have been in place in both directions off and on since last year.
Both access directions are now seriously compromised, and are strangling one of the most important industrial hubs in town.
The improvements will be hugely beneficial, but please can we have some pointsmen on duty at the corner of York & P W Botha to relieve some of the stress this is causing until the roadworks are complete?
