We had hardly noticed the reduced water pressure in Wilderness East on 19 February when Cllr Marlene Barnard informed us that the water team was already at work and that the expected time for repairs was four hours.
It turned out to be a more complex problem, but the team soldiered on into the night.
Marlene kept us informed, and the water supply was reinstated just after 21:00.
How do they do it? Amazing! We can just be thankful for such a team and for such services in our beautiful part of the world.
