Progress het Saterdagmiddag voor sowat 4 000 entoesiastiese toeskouers op die Rosemoor-sportterrein getoon dat hulle oor genoeg skietgoed beskik om op Saterdagmiddag 1 September vir die tweede jaar agtereenvolgens die SWD Grootuitdaagbeker op Outeniquapark omhoog te hou. Progress het vier drieë gedruk in hul oorwinning van 29-22 oor die bulspan van Evergreens. Rustyd was die wenspan reeds met 17-7 voor.
