Herman Potgieter, voormalige SA spiesgooikampioen
'n Voormalige SA spiesgooikampioen Herman Potgieter (67), wat oorspronklik van die Suid-Kaap kom en groot sukses met die afrigting van veldatlete by Hoërskool Outeniqua behaal het, is Woensdag 28 April in Parys in die Vrystaat oorlede. Potgieter en sy eggenoot, Marianna, het 'n paar jaar gelede van George na Parys verhuis. Hy is rustig by sy huis oorlede.
