Barnardo is Progress se sportman van die jaar
Die 26-jarige André Barnardo, 'n oudleerder van PW Botha-kollege, is verlede Vrydagaand op 'n glansgeleentheid in die George-burgersentrum aangewys as Progress-rugbyklub se sportman van die jaar. Die lenige, veelsydige voorspeler, wat 'n yster was vir sy span in die vastelos en lynstane, het 'n groot rol gespeel om te sorg dat Progress vanjaar die SWD se Groot Uitdaagbeker omhoog kon hou en gevorder het tot die kwarteindronde van Saru se gewilde Goue Beker-kompetisie.
