Wyk 18 gewen deur DA
Die DA slaag sekerlik 'n sug van verligting ná die tussenverkiesing verlede Woensdag (25 April) in wyk 18. Die party het die wyk behou, ondanks hewige woelinge verlede week by George-munisipaliteit, twee dae voor die verkiesing. Die nuwe wyksraadslid vir wyk 18 is Jannie van der Westhuizen. Wyk 18 sluit in 'n deel van Denneoord, Twee Rivieren, Bo-dorp, George-Oos, Denverpark en Loeriepark.
