Carpe Diem hosts 12th CANSA Relay for Life
Over a thousand people attended the annual Cansa Relay For Life George held at the Carpe Diem sports ground on Saturday 22 February. The event, which was held under the theme "Cansa Carnival", seeks to give hope and support to every cancer survivor and serves as a fundraiser for cancer. Sponsorships by various local businesses and government departments contributed to raising more than R380 000 with this year's event.
