Shakespeare on stage
Eight local schools took part in the Shakespeare Schools Festival South Africa (SSFSA) last weekend at the Oakhurst Insurance George Arts Theatre. The festival kicked off in April and May at the Artscape and Baxter Theatres in Cape Town. For its second leg in September, schools in the vicinity of Durban, George and Johannesburg had a chance to stage their version of a Shakespearean play.
