Personeel van Parkdene Sekondêre Skool is hoogs in hul skik met 'n geliefde kollega wat vanaf vandag, Donderdag 1 Julie, as skoolhoof aangestel is. Derick Petersen is 'n man wat al vereer is met 'n nasionale toekenning vir leierskap in sekondêre skole, en het sedert Januarie verlede jaar die pos as waarnemende hoof by Parkdene Sekondêr beklee. Hy is bekend vir sy fokus op klasdissipline, spanwerk en gehalte-onderrig.
