Leona Witbooi het 'n hart van goud
Haar liefde vir die gemeenskap, veral die kinders, het Leona Witbooi gedryf om ‘n positiewe verskil in die Parkdene-gemeenskap te maak. “Daarby,” sê sy, “ook die groot behoefte en hongersnood in die gemeenskap”. Witbooi en ‘n vriendin, Amelda Joseph, bedien reeds sedert 2012 daagliks behoeftiges in hul gemeenskap en deel van Maandag tot Vrydag elke dag sowat 200 borde kos uit.
