Alan Winde, Wes-Kaapse premier, twyfel of pres.Wladimir Poetin van Rusland in Augustus tog die Brics-beraad in Suid-Afrika sal bywoon. Winde glo die Suid-Afrikaanse regering kyk na 'n wyse hoe om uit die situasie te kom. Die beraad vind nie in die Wes-Kaap plaas,maar verskillende stanpunte is reeds uitgespreek of die Suid-Afrikaanse regering Poetin moet aankeer as hy in Suid-Afrika land.
