Lorinda en haar ma, Belda (40), het vanuit die middedorp gekom en was op pad huis toe toe 'n Translux-bus hul motor in Knysnaweg by die verkeerslig na Le Vallia getref het. Die bus het die motor, 'n VW Citi Golf, aan die passasierskant, waar Lorinda gesit het, getref.
