Ballotsbaai-bergpas: Ware feite
Die bouer van die Ballotsbaai-bergpas, die privaat toegangspad na die asemrowende Ballotsbaai Privaat Natuurreservaat, was nie Thomas Bain in opdrag van ds. Johan Ballot nie, maar Georgiet Christo Cloete. Op aanlynwebtuistes word verkeerdelik na die pad verwys as 'n geskiedkundige pas wat na die baai lei en in die 1800's in opdrag van die eertydse dominee van die NG Moedergemeente gebou is.
