GEORGE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - This weekend, the Market Community Theatre will resonate with deep, moving African sounds during two performances of Songlines South Africa.
Following a lively opening night on Friday 18 July, theatre-goers can expect an unforgettable experience.
Last week's opening saw attendees gathered around a fire outside the venue, where a youth choir set a captivating tone for the evening.

The choir, part of Siyakhona Youth Development - an NPO in Thembalethu led by Xolisa, Siyabonga and Simbongile Mtishelwa - delighted the audience with their performances of traditional dance, drama and song.
Theatre director Heather Stead shared that the show came together in just three days. She described the process as both nerve-racking and creatively dynamic.
Beyond its cultural significance, Songlines South Africa serves as a fundraiser for the Market Theatre, supporting its ongoing community efforts.
