ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Team Strong Women will be hosting a Mr and Mrs Location 2025 Competition on Saturday 6 December, a dazzling celebration of love, marriage, and commitment.
Unlike a traditional beauty pageant, this event shines the spotlight on married couples, honouring the strength of their bond and the joy of partnership.
Husband-and-wife teams will take to the stage, facing a series of challenges designed to highlight their teamwork, communication, and shared values.
“The competition is about more than glamour - it’s about celebrating real love stories and encouraging couples to prioritise healthy, lasting relationships,” says Linda Branders from Team Strong Women.
Throughout their journey, participating couples will inspire others with their dedication. From rehearsals to the grand finale, they will demonstrate the power of love and partnership in action.
The winning couple won’t just walk away with a title - they will also become ambassadors for marriage in the community, using their platform to promote strong family values and healthier relationships.
“This is an opportunity for couples to remind us all what love, support, and mutual respect look like. It’s about building stronger families and, ultimately, a more loving society.” says Branders.
The grand finale is on Saturday 6 December and promises to be an entertaining and glamourous evening.
Couples will compete under the theme "One Couple, One Crown'', showcasing their love and style in casual wear, semi-formal wear, and evening wear.
It will be held at the Lawaaikamp Civic Centre. The red carpet opens at 18:00.
Tickets cost R100 and include light refreshments and beverages.
No entry or registration fees for couples.
