GEORGE NEWS - If you are interested in the welfare of the Garden Route Botanical Garden (GRBG) and want to know more about the issues the GRBG Board of Trustees are dealing with, you can attend their member information session on 29 November. The public is invited to join in at the Environmental Education Building in the garden at 49 Caledon Street, George, starting at 18:30.
Attendees are asked to bring snacks and something to drink while discussing general issues, GRBG's position with the George Municipality regarding gate fees and access control, and the garden's current financial position.

- Zumba fitness classes: 18 November
- George Schnauzer Friends Fun Walk: 18 November
- Art in the Garden: 1 to 10 December
- Carols by Candlelight: 3 December
- Zumba fitness classes: 9 December
- Be-Jazzeled (music event): 10 December
- Permaculture talk: 14 December
- Frogging evening: 15 December
- Funking the Fynbos (music event): 16 December
- Talk on mesembs: 19 December
- Picnic in the Garden with Kaleidoskoop: 23 December.
Most of these are held to raise funds to keep the garden afloat.
