GEORGE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - One of the most popular live rock and pop bands in the Garden Route, Cloud 9, will be creating a wonderfully nostalgic afternoon on Saturday 7 March at a picnic concert called Rock Icons.
From the bandstand, Cloud 9 will be performing classic rock and pop songs from the 60s, 70s and beyond while the audience can picnic on the lawns and in the shade of the trees.
Just bring your picnic gear, food and drinks and enjoy a lovely party style afternoon as only Cloud 9 knows how to present. And don’t forget those dancing shoes!
This special event follows several very successful performances by Cloud 9 at the botanical garden in previous years.
The event is staged with the Garden Route Botanical Garden as a joint beneficiary to help cover the garden's ever mounting operational costs. The time is 14:00 to 17:00.
Tickets are R90 each at the gate, which opens at 13:00.
Accompanied kids of 12 years and under are absolutely free, so bring the family along.
