ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - South African writer and motivational speaker Fanie Walkenshaw, better known by his stage name 'Left Sleeve', will bring his powerful story of recovery, gratitude and creativity to the George Arts Theatre on Saturday 29 August (19:00).
As a proud recovering addict and alcoholic, Left Sleeve takes audiences on a compelling journey of personal stories, inspiration and reflections on life and recovery in his latest show, Bederf jouself/Spoil Yourself.
His journey into the worlds of art and motivation began during an introverted childhood, when creativity became an escape and creating became his sanctuary.
Inspired by the compassion and respect shown by his parents, Left Sleeve writes "for everyone and no one, about everyone and no one", creating stories that speak to the human experience.
Tickets are R180 on Computicket.
