GEORGE NEWS - The George Heritage Festival invites residents and visitors to participate in the celebration of George’s culture and the diversity of the town’s beliefs and traditions.
Various events will be hosted in George from Saturday 1 to Saturday 8 October.
Prior to this, roadshows to encourage participation and give more information on how you can become involved, will be hosted at 18:00 at the venues below.
The first two roadshows, one in Blanco and the other in Pacaltsdorp, have already taken place.
• Monday 29 August – Lawaaikamp Civic
• Tuesday 30 August – George Banquet Hall, York Street
• Wednesday 31 August – Thusong Centre, off Nelson Mandela Boulevard, Mgcakan Jeriko Street, Thembalethu
• Thursday 1 September – Parkdene Hall, Ballot Street
